It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during nap time and for travelling.

It's made from soft materials and features mesh sides that are breathable to help promote airflow. It is available in charcoal or oak and a variety of melange fabrics that can be incorporated with a variety of styles. Anna found that it was solid and secure when it was attached to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secured for security. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble it and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support contact number should you encounter any problems.

It features a brand new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel, and is easy to operate, even for one-handed operation. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings as well as retractable legs for a secure fit underneath any bed.

Our testers were impressed by the ease of use offered by the side panel that can be moved up and downwards with just one push of a button. This was particularly helpful in the evening when feeding time was over, since they could reach inside and pick their baby up without disturbing them up.

It is possible to lower the side panel by itself but this is not recommended, as it increases the risk that your baby will get out of the cot. However, the safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the bed of the parent correctly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace mind, especially if you're breastfeeding and require frequent night feeds.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers thanks to the telescopic legs. It also comes with tilting functions for babies with reflux and a rocking mode to soothe them back to sleep after feeding. It's also incredibly large and has great ventilation due to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers, even with the lengthy instruction manual. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's easily moved from one room to another. It's also foldable into a bag for travel, which is a great option if you want to transport it. The only issue our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex as much as some of the other models, making it slightly harder to see your baby from your own bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside cot 6 months plus crib is a great choice when you're looking for a crib that can grow with your child. It's a sleeper crib that is securely attached to your bed and can be converted into a stylish cot when your baby is old enough. Ideal for feeding at night and strengthening the bond you have with your new born.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other models. The mesh side panels with dual-view as well as the hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress increase airflow and keep your baby comfortable and cool.
